Here's another email I received concerning our country.

Dear Myron,

Liberal elites said we were losing steam. Media pundits claimed the tea party movement "had run its course." MSNBC and many leading Democrats trashed us as racists, bigots, bitter angry extremists and worse while claiming our fellow citizens were rejecting us. Radical leftist groups planned "tea party crashing" counter-events.

But yesterday, you and hundreds of thousands of our fellow Americans demonstrated anew the passion of a conservative movement determined to take back our nation.

In Madison, Wisconsin 12,000 cheering activists staged one of the biggest rallies in state history. AFP state director Mark Block called me with the crowd roaring in the background to say, "Tim, Wisconsin is going to lead the way this year."

In the heartland of Kansas City 10,000 tea partiers turned out - even bigger than last year - and in Oregon at least 30 tea parties swept that deeply blue state, with 3,000 folks even turning out in Salem.

Mark Meckler and the Tea Party Patriots welcomed thousands more in Sacramento, California while Amy Kremer and the "Tea Party Express" rolled into Washington, D.C. for yet another huge event in our nation's capital - I'm sure Speaker Pelosi was thrilled.

I could go on and on but you get the picture. In fact, get a load of these pictures!

At Diablo Stadium in Tempe, Arizona I stood with thousands of grassroots activists filling up the baseball stadium and sang "God Bless America." A father, grandfather, Army veteran and job-creating businessman, Foster Friess, told the crowd how we will win if we fearlessly and joyfully stand on our values - ignoring the slurs and attacks from the Left and winning over our fellow Americans one by one with the force of our ideas.

In yesterday's email I asked you for your thoughts and pictures from the tea parties and boy did you respond. Here are just a couple of responses.

- "I am somebody who is not normally 'involved in politics' but I was stirred up..." - Dylan from NC

- "I am a member of the Tea Party and know real changes are long overdue....Being a small business owner I have lost 80% of my business over the past 5 years." - Steve from Oregon

President Reagan often said that we "have it within our power to make our nation new again," and I'm telling you we do.

The American people are looking for principled leadership and bold ideas. Forget Washington, D.C. It's not there and our fellow citizens know it.

The leadership they're looking for, the bold ideas they want - they're right with you and other Americans just like you.

We've just got to seize this moment. With days like yesterday, we're well on our way.

Dear Myron,

This morning I write to you from Sacramento, CA where last night hundreds of fired-up grassroots activists attened the Americans for Prosperity Foundation's Defending the American Dream Summit®. CLICK here for pictures.

Today, hundreds of thousands of Americans will stand up for freedom by participating in hundreds of tea parties across our great nation. Hopefully, you're heading out to an event near you!

I'll be at Diablo Stadium in Tempe, Arizona for the big tea party there. If you're there, make sure you come up and say hello.

This Tax Day, we face big challenges.

* The new Obama/Pelosi/Reid health care takeover includes almost $564 billion in new taxes on American families and businesses.

* If the Bush tax cuts are allowed to expire on December 31 of this year (and President Obama and Speaker Pelosi say that is their intention), then we will see an almost $1-trillion tax increase.

* The Death Tax will come roaring back. The best news about today's tax day is that for the first time in 94 years, death is not a taxable event in America. Unfortunately, Democrats want to bring back the death tax at an outrageous 55% rate!

* The top personal income tax rate will go back up to 39.6%. Taxes will skyrocket on capital gains.

* 47% of Americans no longer pay personal income taxes due to policies coming out of Washington, D.C., and it's not surprising that the burden on the remaining most productive Americans keeps going up.

* You would think all this taxing means a balanced budget. Of course, you would be wrong. The federal budget deficit this year is expected to end up over $1.5 trillion.

Not surprisingly, all this taxing and spending is killing prosperity for Americans. In fact, personal income is down 3.2% since President Obama took office when you exclude government handouts. It's the same old story. As government advances, opportunity and economic prosperity for Americans recedes.

Thankfully, a majority of our fellow Americans are joining with us to turn things around. Here in California, the energy is electric. Tonight I talked to grassroots activists and tea party leaders who are spearheading the drive for freedom in our biggest state, and they are on a roll. Trust me when I say this: liberal icon Senator Barbara Boxer is in trouble. After 28 years of radical left-wing votes, and after demonstrating her arrogance (remember when she scolded an American Army General telling him to call her "Senator" when he dared to call her "Ma'am"), I believe it's clear the people have had enough of her.

We're starting to win and the Left knows it. I do not often quote the late Indian leader Mahatma Gandhi, but speaking of his own country's fight from freedom from Great Britain he said the following: "First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win."

Gandhi may have been speaking decades ago, but he summed up where we stand pretty darned well.

So this Tax Day, be of good cheer. Keep up the fight. Endure assaults from the Left with the knowledge that the Left's slurs and attacks only show their weakness and desperation.

Our ideas matter. And, the dedicated work of grassroots leaders like you matters.

Have you heard?

I remember when I was first introduced to computers. I was amazed!

I wanted to know what’s inside these wonderful machines.

So I joined the military to see the world. I was amazed at how weather patterns are formed. So I joined the USAF in 1966 and wanted to be a weather observer.

What did I end up doing?

I plotted weather maps at Omaha NE using a XY machine on a BIG computer plotting weather maps.

We would then give this information to the commanders in our underground bunker who would in turn relay the weather information to the SE Asia soldiers fighting the Vietnam war.

That’s about enough info for today.

Here is a woman who should run for Prime Minister!

Written by a housewife in New Brunswick, to her local newspaper.

"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001 and have continually threatened to do so since?

Were people from all over the world, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from the nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a few Taliban were claiming to be tortured by a justice system of the nation they come from and are fighting against in a brutal insurgency.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere belief of which is a crime punishable by beheading in Afghanistan.

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in Afghanistan come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques and behind women and children.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

I'll care when the Canadian media stops pretending that their freedom of speech on stories is more important than the lives of the soldiers on the ground or their families waiting at home to hear about them when something happens.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a CANADIAN soldier roughing up an Insurgent terrorist to obtain information, know this:

I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank:

I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and 'fed special food' that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts:

I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled 'Koran' and other times 'Quran.' Well, Jimmy Crack Corn you guessed it,

I don't care!!

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behaviour!

If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button.
Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country! And may I add:

Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Soldiers don't have that problem."

THERE WAS A STONEY SILENCE AS OBAMA IGNORED THE QUESTION AND CHOSE NOT TO ANSWER IT !!!

IN ADDITION, A NUMBER OF SENATORS WERE ASKED THE SAME QUESTION AND THEIR RESPONSE WAS."WE WILL THINK ABOUT IT."

AND THEY DID. IT WAS ANNOUNCED TODAY ON THE NEWS THAT THE "KENNEDY HEALTH CARE BILL" WAS WRITTEN INTO THE NEW HEALTH CARE REFORM INITIATIVE ENSURING THAT THAT CONGRESS WILL BE 100% EXEMPT !

SO, THIS GREAT NEW HEALTH CARE PLAN THAT IS GOOD FOR YOU AND I... IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR OBAMA, HIS FAMILY OR CONGRESS...??

WE (THE AMERICAN PUBLIC) NEED TO STOP THIS PROPOSED DEBACLE ASAP !!!! THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG !!!!!

This week you learned how to manage your money with the zero-based budget. Remember, take control of your personal finances, instead of letting them take control of you.

Class Notes
Spend your money on paper, on purpose, before the month begins. Budget each paycheck and all income sources. Be patient. It usually takes around 90 days for a budget to start working.

Use the envelope system for successful cash management. When the money is gone from an envelope, it's gone. Decide, categorize and prioritize all the money that goes in and out.

The Internet is a powerful tool of communication.

Sally & I use the Internet on a daily basis.

Unfortunately, bad people also use the Internet. I’m thinking of all those 911 terrorists who have turned our country upside down. The Muslims who crashed our planes into buildings used the Internet.

So, when someone sends you an email to check out a website, BEWARE!

If the email address and/or web address is NOT known, don’t open it.

It’s OK to visit our web though.

Now I understand that that Topeka KS is on the GOOGLE.com list for high speed Internet.

That would be wonderful.

What happened is I did a "reply to all" in one of your emails. When I did that my email program puts ALL the email addresses in my address book. Consequently, the folks from your email address are in my address book, or anyone else who does a "reply to all"

If anyone does not have a virus protection program we're ALL in trouble. It's kinda like the spreading of the common cold.

The answer is for you to send the emails using the "BCC" feature.

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason.. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.
What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall.. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.
If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red ..

If the Army &Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems..

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.

Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

Not to worry my family, friends, and anyone else who cares. The other day I wrote that I have just returned from the hospital. My brother Dale called and asked me if I’m OK? Ya_Ubet , I’m OK. My Dr. wants me to go to physical therapy for my drop foot. Look it up on google.

Then Sally & I get a letter from brother Dale stating that us Holter’s are candidates for Fuch’s eye disease. That’s another Internet search word too look up.

I’m humored by my bible school “friend” sending me her hate. Here’s her latest email. I have removed her email to protect her privacy. Larry B. knows who I’m referring to.

I worship Our Heavenly Father and Jesus (Yashua) I do not worship these evil Jewish and Hebrew gods or the Jewish and Hebrew beliefs being promoted by this “False Religion” called Christianity that Jesus (Yashua) warned his followers against.

The CHRISTIAN RELIGION IS A NON-STARTER A LAME DUCK and it should be. Those who promote it don’t realize that, they are loosing members to the New Age at a rapid pace and these same lost souls will soon be identifying the Jewish gods as aliens because THAT’S WHAT THEY WERE. The Christian religion will then become known for promoting the beliefs of these evil entities instead of the teachings of Jesus Yashua and his Father and Jesus (Yashua) will then become the ancient prophetic seer of an alien god, instead of what he really was.

People will come to believe that god is an alien or aliens and that mankind is an alien by product of worker bees who have for a long time worshipped these evil entities under the guise of the Jewish and Christian religion. It not only will happen IT IS HAPPENING, why do you think the government has put such a lid on alien sightings and encounters. IT WOULD CHANGE THE WAY WE THINK ABOUT RELIGION TODAY AND IN THE NATURE OF WHO WE REALLY ARE, AND IT SHOULD. The following letter read on Glenn Beck's show, is rapidly circulating around the country. Americans everywhere identify with this 53-year-old woman. She has given us a voice. Once you read this, you will want to forward it to all of your friends...

GLENN BECK: I got a letter from a woman in Arizona . She writes an open letter to our nation's leadership:

"I am a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to pursue the issues important to me. Instead, we are burdened with Congressional Dukes and Duchesses who think they know better than the citizens they are supposed to represent.

There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me that you are there and that you're willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now.
You might ask yourself what my views and issues are that I would feel so horribly disenfranchised by both major political parties. What kind of nut-job am I? Well, these briefly are the views and issues for which I seek representation:

One, illegal immigration.. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels.. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution.

P.S., I'm not a racist. This is not to be confused with legal immigration.

Two, the STIMULUS bill. I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you No, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.

Three: Czars. I want the circumvention of our constitutional checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution, and honor it.

Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There are many conflicting opinions and it is too soon for this radical legislation. Quit throwing our nation into politically-correct quicksand.

Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision that will burden me, my children, and grandchildren. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night without even reading it. Slow down! Fix only what is broken -- we have the best health care system in the world -- and test any new program in one or two states first.

Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. More is not better! Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real [Constitutional] obligations. Why don't you start there.

Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census.. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes -- how did they pull that one off? Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census with our taxpayer money. I don't trust them with any of our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

Eight, redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs -- and that is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person! Why do you want me to hate my employers? And what do you have against shareholders making a profit?

Nine, charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.

Ten, corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Every company must sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. (Have you ever ripped off a Band-Aid?) We will pull together. Great things happen in Am erica under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.

Eleven, transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk.. Please stop trying to manipulate and appease me with clever wording.. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.

Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now.
Take a breath. Listen to the people. Slow down and get some input from nonpoliticians and experts on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed-reading our bills into law. I am not an activist.. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent.. I work. I'm busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.

I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course. What happened? You are very far off course. Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble all through a bill that you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not.
It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at your arrogance. Why is it that I feel as if you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it but you should expect that I should trust you with the debt that you have laid on all of us and our children. We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure that we still cannot. There is needless urgency and recklessness in all of your recent spending of our tax dollars.

From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Am erica ns? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us. We want our voice back. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on bringing our concerns to Washington . Our president often knows all the right buzzwords like unsustainable. Well, no kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don't want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like we're morons.

We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented.. You think we're so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work, pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone... and we are now looking at you.

You have awakened us, the patriotic freedom spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. For every one of us who will be there, there will be hundreds more that could not come. Unlike you, we have their trust. We will represent them honestly, rest assured. They will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office.

We have cancelled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish. We didn't ask for this fight. But the gloves are coming off. We do not come in violence, but we are angry. You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us who will rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that you have made of our constitution.

Democrat, Republican, independent, libertarian. Understand this.. We don't care. Political parties are meaningless to us Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution, and that is all that matters to us now. We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. It is ours and we want it back. We entrusted you with it and you abused it. You are dishonorable. You are dishonest. As Americans we are ashamed of you. You have brought shame to us. If you are not representing the wants and needs of your constituency loudly and consistently, in spite of the objections of your party, you will be fired. Did you hear? We no longer care about your political parties. You need to be loyal to us, not to them.. Because we will get you fired and they will not save you.

If you do or can represent me, my issues, my views, please stand up. Make your identity known. You need to make some noise about it. Speak up. I need to know who you are. If you do not speak up, you will be herded out with the rest of the sheep and we will replace the whole damn congress if need be one by one.

We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent?

Listen. Because we are coming. We the people are coming

In Germany , when Hitler came to power, it was a time of terrible financial depression. Money was worth nothing. In Germany people lost homes and jobs, just like in the American Depression in the 1930s, which we have read about in Thoene's Shiloh books.

In those days, in my homeland, Adolph Hitler was elected to power by promising 'Change.'

He blamed the 'Zionists' around the world for all our problems. He told everyone it was greedy Zionist Bankers who had caused every problem we had. He promised when he was leader, the greedy Zionist bankers would be punished. The Zionists, he promised, would be wiped off the face of the earth.

So Hitler was elected to power by only 1/3 the popular vote. A coalition of other political parties in parliament made him supreme leader. Then, when he was leader, he disgraced and expelled everyone in parliament who did not go along with him.

Yes. Change came to my homeland as the new leader promised it would.

The teachers in German schools began to teach the children to sing songs in praise of Hitler. This was the beginning of the Hitler Youth movement. It began with praise of the Fuhrer's programs on the lips of innocent children. Hymns in praise of Hitler and his programs were being sung in the schoolrooms and in the playyard. Little girls and boys joined hands and sang these songs as they walked home from school.

My brother came home and told Papa what was happening at school. The political hymns of children proclaimed Change was coming to our homeland and the Fuhrer was a leader we could trust.

I will never forget my father's face. Grief and fear. He knew that the best propaganda of the Nazis was song on the lips of little children.

That evening before he said grace at the dinner table, he placed his hands upon the heads of my brothers and me and prayed the Living Word upon us from Jeremiah 1:4-5.

'Now the Word of the Lord came to me, saying, Before I formed you in the womb

I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you, I appointed you a prophet to The Nations."

Soon the children's songs praising the Fuhrer were heard everywhere on the streets and over the radio. ''With our Fuhrer to lead us, we can do it! We can change the world!''

Soon after that Papa, a pastor, was turned away from visiting elderly parishioners in hospitals. The people he had come to bring comfort of God's Word, were ''no longer there.''

Where had they vanished to, while under nationalized health care? It became an open secret. The elderly and sick began to disappear from hospitals feet first as 'mercy killing' became the policy. Children with disabilities and those who had Down syndrome were euthanized.

People whispered, ''Maybe it is better for them now. Put them out of misery. They are no longer suffering. And, of course, their death is better for the treasury of our nation. Our taxes no longer must be spent to care for such a burden.''

And so murder was called mercy.

The government took over private business. Industry and health care were ''nationalized.''

(NA-ZI means National Socialist Party) The businesses of all Jews were seized.

(Perhaps you remember our story in Berlin on Krystalnacht in the book Munich Signature.)

The world and God's word were turned upside down. Hitler promised the people economic Change?

Not change. It was, rather, Lucifer's very ancient Delusion leading to Destruction.

What began with the propaganda of children singing a catchy tune ended in the deaths of millions of children. The reality of what came upon us is so horrible that you in this present generation cannot imagine it.

Our suffering is too great to ever tell in a book or show in a black and white newsreel.

When I spoke to Bodie about some of these things, she wept and said she could not bear to write them. Perhaps one day she will, but I asked her, ''who could bear to read our suffering?''

Yet with my last breaths I warn every Christian and Jew now, in the name of the Lord, Unless your course of the church in America is spiritually changed now, returning to the Lord, there are new horrors yet to come.

I trembled last night when I heard the voices of American children raised in song, praising the name of Obama, the charismatic fellow who claims he is the American Messiah.

Yet I have heard what this man Obama says about abortion and the 'mercy killing' of tiny babies who are not wanted.

There are so few of us left to warn you.

I have heard that there are 69 million Catholics in America and 70 million Evangelical Christians. Where are your voices? Where is your outrage? Where is passion and your vote? Do you vote based on an abortionist's empty promises and economics? Or do you vote according to the Bible?

Thus says the Lord about every living child still in the womb.

''Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you.''

I have experienced the signs of the politics of Death in my youth. I see them again now.

Christians! Unless you stand up now, you will lose your freedom of religion.

In America , priests and preachers have already lost their freedom to speak openly from their pulpits of moral danger in political candidates. They cannot legally instruct you of which candidate holds fast to the precepts of scripture! American law forbids this freedom of speech to conservative pastors or they will lose their 'tax exempt' status.

And yet I have heard the words of Obama's pastor Damning America! I have heard the words of Obama damning and mocking all of you in small towns because you ''Cling to your religion.''

But I am a woman whose name is unknown. My life is recorded as a work of fiction. I have no fear of reprisal when I speak truth to you from the pages of a book. (Though the Zion Covenant books are mocked and condemned by the Left in America .)

I am an old woman and will soon go to be with my Lord. I have no fear for myself, but for all of you and for your children, I tremble.

I tremble at the hymns to a political leader which your children will sing at school.

(Though even now a hymn or a prayer to God and our Lord Jesus is against the law in public school!)

I pray you will personally heed this warning for the sake of your children and your grandchildren. Do not be deceived.

The Lord in Jeremiah 1:7-8 commands every believer to speak up!

"Do not say, 'I am only a youth, for to all whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them for I am with you', declares the Lord!''

I am in Prayer for you, and for the Chruch! Spoken to you in the authority of Jesus the

Christ, the Name Above All Names.

Because I was told these very same things by an elderly, sweet German lady I met last year in South Texas, I thought seriously about what she had told me about what she and her family had lived through. I heard the "AMERICAN CHILDREN" singing on TV... before I even got this message!!

She told me we should "watch for, and heed the warning signs"... and now I'm seeing what she was actually talking about, and it's scary to think that history could be repeating itself right here in this country, while we sit here and do nothing. Have we really grown that complacent?

IT’S MONDAY & I’M RETIRED:

I just heard on FOX that today is the day that the working folks snipe at each other. I also heard from FOX & FRIENDS that the human brain can only 150 “friends” in FACEBOOK. I have just started commenting on my facebook account. I have no idea who other friends of friends are and could care less. I know who I am .. (I think) and that’s good enough for me.

DAMM!! .. My Vikings lost! OH well, life goes on!

Our church here in Topeka KS had their annual congregational meeting. I’m not a voting member. I just attend church regularly.

Yesterday Sally, Julie S. & myself watched a movie “IT’S COMPLICATED”: lots of laughs.

So I ask Sally, What’s the name of the movie? She told me and I said I didn’t want her to describe the movie; I just wanted her to tell me the name of the movie.

I had a perfect birthday! Thanks one and all for your phone calls, emails, and cards. I’ll cherish my 65th birthday forever.

I already used Medicare Part A & B. I had a brain scan last Wednesday. I’m good to go. I told Jesus that my hand-written bucket list needs attention.

This CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVE BLOGGER couldn’t be more pleased.

Those of you that follow our political world and think that our BO president sits right next to Jesus … GET OVER IT! WE WON!

OK, now that I got my little dig in, let me tell you all about my health.

Yesterday I went to see my new Dr., a neurologist. Our primary physician is Dr. Chester Davis here in Topeka KS. I’ve been referred to numerous physicians throughout Topeka and hopefully someone will get to the bottom of my imbalance problem.

The inner ear is NOT the problem. The diagnosis charts showed nothing unusual.

So, the next health questions would be ones blood circulation and the nervous system. Well, I have Diabetes II and I also have neuropathy. My right leg is ALWAYS numb going down to my big toe. The neurologist zeroed in on that problem.

The Dr. asked me when did I first notice this imbalance problem. I didn’t know. It’s been years. I remember when I first had my herniated disk problem. My mother and I had the same back problem when we celebrated her sister Thea’s 90th’s birthday. I remember walking in pain. Later on they gave me an MRI and lo and behold the x-ray looked like someone sat on a jelly donut with all the jelly squirted out.

So I go to a spinal decompression therapy sessions and it helps. This is about three years ago or so. Maybe the damage has already been done?

So last summer Sally and I go to a lifeline-screening test. The results showed that I have a slight blockage in my carotid artery.

BOY.. If all these medical tests of my body continues, I might even catch up with my brother Dale! .. Hope not.

So, me and the scarecrow visit the wizard via the yellow brick road to see if I have a brain. I step on the scale and need to catch myself. It’s rather obvious when I catch my balance just stepping on the scale. I then am asked to do a sobriety test, for lack of a better word. I failed. The nurses and Dr. can obviously see my imbalance. I’m not even drunk!

This morning I’m to have three MRI’s to check my brain. I hope they find something up there.

Well I have done nothing but try to educate you but you just DON’T GET IT. The Bible is NOT THE WORD OF GOD, it’s NOT EVEN THE WORD OF JESUS (YASHUA). It is a document created by a group of political power structure who primarily worshipped Mithra as god and the worshp of aliens.

You can’t come to any other conclusion when you DO YOUR HOMEWORK. This is why the Jewish and Roman Orthodox Catholic founders made it an secret document that no one was allowed to read. The locals would have known that the Bible emulated evil entities not the God Jesus (Yashua) came to town to teach people about.

Jesus (Yashua) was an enemy of the Jews, the Hebrew Israelites and Rome because he spoke out against their evil gods. He called them Satanic,, Snakes, Scorpions etc. We call them Nordic Aliens, Reptilians and Grays today. History is filled with accounts of their worship. Moses was not allowed to see the face of his entity who walked back and forth in front of him. The Jews were not allowed to make any graven images of their gods.

When Jesus (Yashua) comes back to town he will destroy the Jewish, Hebrew Israelite and Roman alien gods. They are the enemy and they created the Old Testament not Our Heavenly Father.

The Bush’s in general have really fooled the right wing fundamentalist and the Republicans. Especially the religious right who almost never do their homework, and instead follow one phony leader after another. They would never dig into the Bush family connection to the Dark Side. They wouldn’t even think about it as long as he claimed to be a Christian and passed their misguided religious beliefs into laws. Christians care about promoting the misinformation, disinformation and lies in the Bible because they are programmed to do that. They do not admit the damage he has done to this county. THEY JUST DON’T GET IT.

I have so little respect for people who DON’T DO THEIR HOMEWORK. The corrupt associations the Bush’s have with the Dark Side is all over the place and it is accurate data. They have always had direct toes to, Communism and the New World Order Shadow Government Elite’s agenda. This is so clear that you can’t miss the connections if you DO YOUR HOMEWORK. This is another reason I have so little respect for Christians, they are simple minded and easily conned by anyone claiming to have religious values. People who know how to play the Christian card can so easily manipulate them. They follow the leaders and DON’T ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS. Christians have no idea they are promoting satanic pagan beliefs because they are being conned into thinking that the Bible is the word of god and believe that the Christian church teaches what Jesus (Yashua) taught (WRONG) which is anything but the truth.

Fundamental Christians are asleep on so many levels. I am not saying they are not good people but they are childlike and simple minded. It’s like they were born to function like simple robots following their programming and their leaders are the ones pushing all of their buttons.

Christian fundamentalists seem to be walking around in a trance state wondering why people don’t attend church anymore.

There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that the Bush’s have all but destroyed this country but you can’t tell that to programmed Christian right wing SLEEPING SHEEPLE. IT DOESN’T COMPUTE. It is almost a complete waste of time talking to them and because of that you hope and pray they forget to show up at the voting booths next time.

I can’t change your mind Myron. I have sent you article after article showing you how dangerous the Dark Side is and the Bush Connection to it yet you still fall in line with the Sleeping Sheeple.

I am a very smart person and after reviewing all of the evidence I would have no problem locking the Bush’s up for life and throwing away the keys.

Dear Loretta,

Wow! What a trip.

I just flew from Denver, Colorado to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and just got settled into my hotel room.

And when I say "settled" into my hotel room, I simply mean that I am physically settled, but not exactly emotionally.

I've felt this way before.

I felt this way every time before I stepped onto the floor of the United States Congress to give the unborn my best, most passionate speech to try and sway some of my fellow members of Congress to vote for a piece of pro-life legislation I was sponsoring.

It's the feeling I get before I know I am headed to battle, a battle between good and evil, life or death for the unborn.

You see, as a member of Congress, I could easily stroll onto the floor and give a good speech about transportation, or taxes, or energy. But when I knew I would be standing up for the sacredness of human life, a knot would form in my stomach. This wouldn't just be any speech. We're talking about protecting God's children.

And tomorrow I am headed to the battlefield for the unborn in the most important war the pro-life movement has faced since Roe v. Wade.

And so that knot in my stomach is back. As easy as it would have been to stay in my warm home in Colorado and enjoy a nice Sunday evening with my family, I know that God expects more of me and so here I am, trying to prepare myself for battle.

Let me tell you about my battle plan.

Beginning tomorrow and ending Wednesday evening, I will begin a whirlwind tour of press conferences covering nine media markets that are represented by a total of 14 pro-life Democrats in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana.

You see, these 14 pro-life Democrats have been friendly to the unborn in the past. They all voted for the Stupak Amendment, and represent pro-life constituencies.

But they are under an immense amount of pressure from Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Barak Obama in Washington to turn their back on the unborn, their constituents, and their consciences. They're being told it's time to put party above principle.

I've been there, too. I've been under that pressure. I've felt it. It's not fun.

And what makes sticking to your principles so much easier is when you know that your constituents have your back.

That's why local community leaders in each district will be joining me at press conferences to urge their member of Congress to truly represent them and to fight for the unborn and their mothers.

For example, Georgette Forney of Pittsburgh and co-founder of Silent No More will explain how the abortion procedure simply leads to physical and emotional health care issues. And Sharon Carey of Terre Haute, Indiana will talk about how her pregnancy care center won't be able to help as many women choose life if there are free abortions. And there are dozens more local leaders that will speak, surrounded and supported by pro-life women in their communities.

In addition to the press conferences, the Susan B. Anthony List will run nearly $50,000 in radio ads urging constituents in these targeted districts to lobby their Representative, and will even deploy robo-calls to identified pro-life voters urging them to lobby their Member to stand for life.

And through pro-life citizen lobbying, these targeted pro-life Democrats will know that their constituents have their backs.

Without a doubt, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana are the battleground for life, and I'll be entering the battle tomorrow.

If you are not aware of what I am referring to we had an immigration bill presented two years ago, SB 458 and you will see by the list below which legislators ignored the wishes of 80%, EIGHTY% of Kansas voters over big business. They ignored the wishes of Kansas voters the same as the DC crooks are doing with the health care sham as we speak and every one of them should be voted out of office, you will get your chance this year! Thank those that voted for SB 458 and fire those that did not, look at the list and let em know they are toast. With the numbers of people attending the rallies around the USA and Kansas it appears that the folks are waking up and if you have heard the news today some of the DC crowd is already bailing out, several announcements today. We have them surrounded and they know it, we can vote them out except for states like Minnesota etc. where ACORN got Class Clown Franken in office.

On January 15, 2010 at 9:30 am, the Senate Judiciary Committee will conduct a hearing on the Kansas Sovereignty Resolution, SCR 1615. The hearing will be in the new Hearing Room on the 5th floor, South Wing of the Capitol building in Topeka.

It is imperative the Senate see grassroots support for the 10th Amendment if any legislation is to go forward this year. Please plan to come and show your support for SCR 1615. The hearing may take less than 60 minutes, but they may be the most important minutes of this session.

Each new day is a blank page in the diary of your life.

best story you possibly can. Have pages on understanding
and tales of overcoming hardships. Fill your story with
enthusiasm, adventure, learning, and laughter. And make
each chapter reflect time doing these things:

Follow your dreams. Work hard. Be kind. Do what you

2009 YEAR IN REVIEW:

I guess it’s a bout time that I write a little bit about our year in review.

Sally & I were discussing our highlights and lowlights of 2009 and we’re working on the top 10 issues.

WE’RE DEBT FREE!

On Nov 2009 I was able to pay off the home equity loan in full! The “HEL” loan had ballooned up to 18K at one point. We were using this loan as an excuse for spending more than we were making.

I only have a little visa to pay off. I fixed up my “hearse.” The 73’ Ford truck was my parents’ truck from years ago. When DAD passed away in 1978, I bought this keepsake for to remain in the family.

In order to be debt free we merely had to BUDGET our money. I use Microsoft excel to budget the figures.

We are lifetime members of Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. We first attended a class back in 2006. We used the turtle method as opposed to the gazelle method. Those who have participated in FPU would understand.

Our Lutheran church here in Topeka has offered the course earlier this year. They’re planning on offering another course in February 2010. I will try to make all the classes, but it’s not imperative we attend, as we’re all ready life time members.

We purchased a DVD from FPU with all 13 classes. One can take all these classes from home, but it’s better to share your knowledge with others.

Sharing FPU is like sharing the good news of Jesus.

changed in 4,000 years.

Good morning, brothers and sisters; it's always a delight to see
the pews crowded on Sunday morning, and so eager to get into
God's Word. Turn with me in your Bibles, if you will to the 47th
chapter of Genesis, we'll begin our reading at verse 13, and go
through verse 27.
Brother Ray, would you stand and read that great passage for us?
....(reading)...
Thank you for that fine reading, Brother Ray... So we see that
economic hard times fell upon Egypt , and the people turned to
the government of Pharaoh to deal with this for them. And Pharaoh
nationalized the grain harvest, and placed the grain in great storehouses
that he had built. So the people brought their money to Pharaoh, like a
great tax increase, and gave it all to him willingly in return for grain. And
this went on until their money ran out, and they were hungry again.
So when they went to Pharaoh after that, they brought their
livestock -their cattle, their horses, their sheep, and their donkey -
to barter for grain, and verse 17 says that only took them through
the end of that year..
But the famine wasn't over, was it? So the next year, the people
came before Pharaoh and admitted they had nothing left, except
their land and their own lives. "There is nothing left in the sight
of my lord but our bodies and our land. Why should we die before
your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for food,
and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh." So they
surrendered their homes, their land, and their real estate to
Pharaoh's government, and then sold themselves into slavery
to him, in return for grain. What can we learn from this, brothers
and sisters?
That turning to the government instead of to God to be our provider
in hard times only leads to slavery? Yes.. That the only reason
government wants to be our provider is to also become our master?
Yes.
But look how that passage ends, brothers and sisters! Thus Israel
settled in the land of Egypt , in the land of Goshen .. And they gained
possessions in it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly." God
provided for His people, just as He always has! They didn't end up
giving all their possessions to government, no, it says they gained
possessions! But I also tell you a great truth today, and an ominous
one. We see the same thing happening today - the government today
wants to "share the wealth "once again, to take it from us and redistribute
it back to us. It wants to take control of healthcare, just as it has taken
control of education, and ration it back to us, and when government
rations it, then government decides who gets it, and how much, and
what kind. And if we go along with it, and do it willingly, then we will
wind up no differently than the people of Egypt did four thousand years
ago - as slaves to the government, and as slaves to our leaders.
What Mr. Obama's government is doing now is no different from what
Pharaoh's government did then, and it will end the same. And a lot of
people like to call Mr. Obama a "Messiah," don't they? Is he a Messiah?
A savior? Didn't the Egyptians say, after Pharaoh made them his slaves,
"You have saved our lives; may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh"?
Well, I tell you this -
I know the Messiah; the Messiah is a friend of mine;
and Mr. Obama is no Messiah! No, brothers and sisters,
if Mr. Obama is a character from the Bible, then he is Pharaoh.
Bow with me in prayer, if you will.
Lord, You alone are worthy to be served, and we rely on You, and You alone.
We confess that the government is not our deliverer, and never rightly will be.
We read in the eighth chapter of 1 Samuel, when Samuel warned the people
of what a ruler would do, where it says "And in that day you will cry out
because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but
the LORD will not answer you in that day." And Lord, we acknowledge
that day has come. We cry out to you because of the ruler that we have
chosen for ourselves as a nation. Lord, we pray for this nation. We pray
for revival, and we pray for deliverance from those who would be our masters.
Give us hearts to seek You and hands to serve You, and protect Your people
from the atrocities of Pharaoh's government.
In God We Trust...

IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE:

Yes indeed, it is TRULY a wonderful life!

Yesterday Mark, Sally & myself were honored to attend the sold out musical performance of “It’s a Wonderful Life” at the Topeka Civic Theater.

Our local NBC TV network played the original black and white version. We have it on our DVR box.

I related a lot to George Bailey, the main lead. In 25 words or less, here is the story:

A good man, George Bailey, is disappointed and wants to die. An angel appears to save him.

Here’s my wonderful life:

A follower of Jesus, Myron D. Holter, is disappointed. He does NOT want to die. He’s writing about his life and posting his writings on the web.

Americans For Prosperity

Yesterday at 1:30 p.m. two very different meetings occurred.

On the grounds of the United States Capitol, thousands of grassroots activists from across the nation rallied in a park with the media present. Our message to the Senate was simple: "Keep your hands off our health care!" CLICK HERE FOR PICTURES

Meanwhile, at the White House, President Obama, Majority Leader Harry Reid, other liberal Senators and their special interest allies met behind closed doors to cut political deals, twist arms and plot strategy -- all to get their health care takeover bill across the finish line and out of the Senate.

At our open air rally, Laura Ingraham, Dr. Tom Coburn, Sen. Jim DeMint, Sen. Richard Burr, Sen. Johnny Isakson, Jim Martin of 60 Plus, and our Tea Party Patriot friends Jenny Beth Martin and Mark Meckler detailed our reasons for opposing this disastrous health care takeover while urging Americans to stay in the fight for our freedoms. Across the nation, thousands more Americans went to the local offices of their U.S. Senators with the same message.

Meanwhile, at the White House, the President and his political friends negotiated in secret. Cut their deals in secret. And tried to buy votes in secret.

The contrast could not be more clear. And, that's why the American people are with us.

Ever wonder if your grassroots efforts make a difference?

Well, let me give you two numbers: 61 and 44.

CNN -- hardly a conservative front group -- recently reported that 61% of the American people now OPPOSE the Washington health care "reform" effort. Support for the health care takeover is literally in free fall.

The second number: Gallup Polling Company reports that President Obama's personal approval rating is down to just 44% -- the lowest level in history for a President still in his first year.

President Obama has made this ill-advised health care takeover his top priority, and the American people are telling the President loud and clear to stop now. Sadly, he's not listening.

I could tell you so many stories from today's rally at the Capitol. But, I'll hold at just two.

As the rally ended and the thousands of activists headed for their Senators' offices to deliver their message one-on-one, a young man in a baseball cap walked up to me and said "I'm from Jersey and I closed up my pizza shop for the day to come down here to send a message. Times may be hard but I can always make up the money later and I don't want my children to live under government-run health care." With that, he introduced me to his young son.

Minutes later, a retired gentleman from North Carolina holding an American flag (a big one) came up to me, shook my hand and said, "This is the third time I've come to Washington, D.C. this year and I'll come again if I have to. I fought in Korea for freedom and now I'm fighting for freedom again. I've never quit at anything in my life and I'm too old to quit at something now!" He gave me a big bear hug and then marched off for the long ride home.

I walked back to my car with that combat veteran's words ringing in my ears, "I've never quit at anything in my life..."

He's right. We're not going to quit.

Harry Reid and President Obama and Speaker Pelosi are trying to sell "inevitability." The idea that this health care takeover cannot be stopped.

We've stopped it since the August recess, through Labor Day, then through October, then to Thanksgiving. Now, we're just over a week from Christmas.

They can be stopped. And, you and I and folks across America are the ones who are standing in the gap for our freedoms. Thank you.

I used to like Christmas.

When I was a little guy, Christmas was always something I looked at with earnest.

My parents would always make it fun. We lived on a farm NE of Bruce SD. I am the 5th child of six children. I’m the thorn between two roses.

On January 15, 2010 at 9:30 am, the Senate Judiciary Committee will conduct a hearing on the Kansas Sovereignty Resolution, SCR 1615. The hearing will be in the new Hearing Room on the 5th floor, South Wing of the Capitol building in Topeka.

Please re-read the previous sentence. All this entire mayoral candidate wanted to do in 2005 was to cut ribbons and kiss babies. Or like my financial friend Dave Ramsey tells his callers, eating rice and beans or beans and rice. All I wanted to do was kiss babies and/or cut ribbons. So here’s what I’m thinking:

In the next election cycle, there will be two candidates running for office. A bumper sticker could be something like

BUNTEN-HOLTER
Now the 2nd mayor would need to learn how to conduct the weekly meetings at city hall.
He/she would be knowledgeable on the Roberts rule of order. This candidate would rather be out cheerleading for this great city. But this guy would refuse to wear a female cheerleader outfit. J

The voters of Topeka KS would decide in the next election.

The mayor would only vote in the event of a 2-2 tie. The mayor also would have veto rights.

CITY COUNCIL:

The Topeka City council’s four districts will be voted by the Topeka voters come election time. Currently the voters decide the nine elected officials every other year. In 2010 the even districts #2,4 & ,8 will be decided.

I propose that there will only be even districts #2 & 4 with #6 & #8 no longer in existence.

The current incumbent in these districts would need to run for office, like everyone else.

In 2011 the odd districts #1,3,5,7 & 9 will be up for election with our current election process.

I propose that there only be districts #1 & 3 come election time in 2011. The incumbents would need to apply as a candidate like every other citizen. Districts #5,7 & 9 will no longer exist.

The incumbents in these districts will need to run for office when the time comes.

Those running for office in any elected position will need to be a voter in the district they are running. No exceptions.

The two mayors will need to be a voting citizen in the city of Topeka KS also. No exceptions.

Please bear in mind, this is a rough draft for you all in government to consider.

It doesn’t matter what kind of government you have in life, it’s the people who make it work .. or not.

Currently the health at the Myron Holter household sucks, if anyone cares.
Last night while working at the Y, Sally did her usual klutzy thing and ran into a bar bell machine. I walked to the Y and drove her home. It’s now 2:30 AM and I’m listening to Sally sleep and there’s no noise coming from her bedroom. That’s GOOD!

Sally has sleep apnea and we cannot sleep together. But she has given me many conjugal visits. HA She asked me to take a picture of her ONCE wearing her contraption called CPAP. I guess it’s better that she wears this contraption or face death. I prefer the earlier.

My question is: ??

How’s going to take care of who?

I got shot down over N Vietnam in 1967,
a Sqdn. Commander.
After I returned in 1973...I published 2 books that dealt a lot with "real torture" in Hanoi .
Our make believe president is branding our country as a bunch of torturers when he has no idea what torture is.

As for me, put thru a mock execution because I would not respond... pistol whipped on the head...same event..
Couple of days later... hung by my feet all day.
I escaped and a couple of weeks later,
I got shot and recaptured.
Shot was OK...what happened afterwards was not.

They marched me to Vinh...put me in the rope trick, trick...almost pulled my arms out of the sockets.
Beat me on the head with a little wooden rod
until my eyes were swelled shut,
and my unshot, unbroken hand a pulp.

Next day hung me by the arms...
rebroke my right wrist...
wiped out the nerves in my arms
that control the hands...
rolled my fingers up into a ball.
Only left the slightest movement
of my L forefinger.
So I started answering
with some incredible lies.

Sent me to Hanoi
strapped to a barrel of gas
in the back of a truck.

Hanoi..
on my knees....
rope trick again..
Beaten by a big fool.

Into leg irons on a bed in Heartbreak Hotel.

Much kneeling--hands up at Zoo.

Really bad beating
for refusing to condemn
Lyndon Johnson.

Several more kneeling events.
I could see my knee bone
thru kneeling holes.

There was an escape from the annex to the Zoo. I was the Senior
Officer of a large building because of escape...they started a mass
torture of all commanders.

I think it was July 7, 1969...they started beating me with a car fan
belt. In first 2 days I took over 300 strokes...then stopped counting
because I never thought I would live thru it.

They continued day-night torture to get me to confess to a non-existent
part in the escape. This went on for at least 3 days. On my knees....
fan belting...cut open my scrotum with fan belt stroke. opened up
both knee holes again. My fanny looked like hamburger...I could not
lie on my back.

They tortured me into admitting
that I was in on the escape...
and that my 2 room-mates knew about it.

The next day I denied the lie.

They commenced torturing me again
with 3- 6- or 9 strokes of the fan belt
every day from about July 11 or 12th..
to 14 October 1969.
I continued to refuse to lie
about my roommates again.

Now, the point of this
is that our make-believe president
has declared to the world
that we (U.S..) are a bunch of torturers...
Thus it will be OK to torture us
next time when they catch us...
because that is what the U.S. does.

Our make-believe president
is a know nothing fool
who thinks that pouring a little water
on some one's face,
or hanging a pair of women's pants
over an Arabs head is TORTURE.
He is a meathead.

I just talked to MOH holder Leo Thorsness,
who was also in my squadron, in jail...
as was John McCain...
and we agree that McCain does not speak
for the POW group when he claims
that Al Gharib was torture...
or that "water boarding" is torture.

Our president and those fools around him
who keep bad mouthing our great country
are a disgrace to the United States.
Please pass this info on to Sean Hannity.
He is free to use it to point out
the stupidity of the claims
that water boarding...
which has no after effect...
is torture.
If it got the Arab to cough up the story about how he planned the attack on the twin towers in NYC... hurrah for the guy who poured the water.

Why do they call it that? .. Who knows? Maybe it’s because all these retail outlets are banking on their financial futures on one day. As for my house, and me, we’ll stay home thank you.

My Thanksgiving is one of dizziness, headaches and now the common cold. Hopefully it’s just the common cold and not the swine flu. UFF-DA

Yesterday we picked up our son and enjoyed a feast at the AG hall here in Topeka. I shared my business card with the folks.

I might ask Sally to not have our friend Julie S. over for after Thanksgiving feast. I was able to take a photo of our non-burned #20 turkey this year.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. I have just finished round two of a 40 day listening tour of the new testament here at home.

My hometown Lutheran church in Bruce SD was giving out the CD’s. I picked up a copy while I was running for President last July 2008. J

I’ve decided that one should NOT read the book of Revelations to the kindergarteners. The Gospel of John would be more appropriate for the kids in school.

Then again, with the PC government the way it is today, just to mention GOD could land you in the slammer.

Thank GOD for the Internet. My writings are all on my computer.

One of the fruits of the spirit is kindness.

Yesterday I decided to get some supplies at Lowes here in Topeka KS. I run out of gas on 29th street. I was able to limp along to the Oriental Express Café close to a gas station. The rear end of the truck was protruding out on the busy street.

While standing next to my hearse wondering what to do, out come 5 or 6 big Orientals asking me if I needed a push. I was very thankful!

One of the employees gave me a ride to Gregg Tire to get some gas. I was indeed very thankful to the Oriental Express employees for giving me a push away from danger.

Later on the way to the downtown Y for my almost daily workout my ’95 Toyota needed some gas. While pumping the gas at 6th & Lane I had a short conversation with a disabled Veteran in need. He had only $1.35 to place fuel into his vehicle. He was trying to make it to KCMO. I felt sorry for him. So I used my card and filled up his vehicle with gas.

I gave this patriot my business card.

The Lord works in mysterious ways, HIS wonders to perform.
The BIBLE is alive and well today.

Now I yearn to read the BIBLE on a daily basis. By reading/listening to the BIBLE, does that make me better than anyone else? – ABSOLUTELY NOT!

My BIBLE READING SCHEDULE:

Listening to a CD from my church for ½ hour per day. Then I try to read a little bit from the old and New Testament.

Yesterday I attended an American for Prosperity meeting here in Topeka. We listened to another Milton Friedman’s video about our school system.

I went to a one-room grade school in Bruce SD, 1961-59. Mrs. Bombeck was my grade school teacher from grades one-through eight. I guess I came out ok.

We didn’t have computers back then.

My headaches and dizziness are still there. Dr. Davis wants me to go see a ear-nose-eye specialist. I agree.

I also am taking medicine for diabetes and now depression.

Here’s is an excerpt from page 14:

Yes indeed, it’s Monday and I can still write.

Sally & I have been talking about what we should do over the upcoming holidays, Thanksgiving & Christmas.

We would like to have some friends over, but our home is too messy! And I don’t feel like entertaining at the moment. Maybe it’s just me. I’d be more than happy to just have Mark over and that’s it.

Sally purchased a BIG turkey yesterday. I guess I’ll make another attempt to smoke it. Last year I burnt the turkey.

We wanted to volunteer to work at the Expo center, but they have enough volunteers, we’ve been told. Topeka KS has an annual Thanksgiving feast from the days of a philanthropist Grant Cushinberry. I have made a link for Grant on our web.

America as the last man standing

Dear Friends,

Thank you very much for inviting me.

I come to America with a mission. All is not well in the old world. There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic. We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe . This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West. The United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe .

First I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe . Then, I will say a few things about Islam. To close I will tell you about a meeting in Jerusalem .

The Europe you know is changing.

You have probably seen the landmarks. But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world. It is the world of the parallel society created by? Muslim mass-migration.

All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire Muslim neighborhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen. And if they are, they might regret it. This goes for the police as well. It's the world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group of children. Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead. With mosques on many street corners. The shops have signs you and I cannot read. You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity. These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics. These are Muslim neighborhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe . These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe , street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood, city by city.

There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe . With larger congregations than there are in churches. And in every European city there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region. Clearly, the signal is: we rule.

Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam , Marseille and Malmo in Sweden. In many cities the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim. Paris is now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighborhoods. Mohammed is the most popular name among boys in many cities.

In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims.

Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal food to all pupils. In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear 'whore, whore'. Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin.

In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin . The history of the Holocaust can no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity.

In England Sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system Many neighborhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves. Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels , because he was drinking during the Ramadan.

Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II. French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya, Israel . I could go on forever with stories like this. Stories about Islamization.

A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live in Europe . San Diego University recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim just 12 years from now. Bernhard Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century.

Now these are just numbers. And the numbers would not be threatening if the Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate. But there are few signs of that. The Pew Research Center reported that half of French Muslims see their loyalty to Islam as greater than their loyalty to France . One-third of French Muslims do not object to suicide attacks. The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Muslim students are in favor of a worldwide caliphate. Muslims demand what they call 'respect'. And this is how we give them respect. We have Muslim official state holidays.

The Christian-Democratic attorney general is willing to accept Sharia in the Netherlands if there is a Muslim majority. We have cabinet members with passports from Morocco and Turkey .

Muslim demands are supported by unlawful behavior, ranging from petty crimes and random violence, for example against ambulance workers and bus drivers, to small-scale riots. Paris has seen its uprising in the low-income suburbs, the banlieus. I call the perpetrators 'settlers'. Because that is what they are. They do not come to integrate into our societies, they come to integrate our society into their Dar-al-Islam. Therefore, they are settlers.

Much of this street violence I mentioned is directed exclusively against non-Muslims, forcing many native people to leave their neighborhoods, their cities, their countries. Moreover, Muslims are now a swing vote not to be ignored. I

The second thing you need to know is the importance of Mohammed the prophet. His behavior is an example to all Muslims and cannot be criticized. Now, if Mohammed had been a man of peace, let us say like Ghandi and Mother Theresa wrapped in one, there would be no problem. But Mohammed was a warlord, a mass murderer, a pedophile, and had several marriages - at the same time. Islamic tradition tells us how he fought in battles, how he had his enemies murdered and even had prisoners of war executed. Mohammed himself slaughtered the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza. If it is good for Islam, it is good. If it is bad for Islam, it is bad.

Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion. Sure, it has a god, and a here-after, and 72 virgins. But in its essence Islam is a political ideology. It is a system that lays down detailed rules for society and the life of every person. Islam wants to dictate every aspect of life. Islam means 'submission'. Islam is not compatible with freedom and democracy, because what it strives for is Sharia. If you want to compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or national-socialism, these are all totalitarian ideologies.

Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam 'the most retrograde force in the world', and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran. The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor. I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times. I support Israel . First, because it is the Jewish homeland after two thousand years of exile up to and including Auschwitz, second because it is a democracy, and third because Israel is our first line of defense.

This tiny country is situated on the fault line of jihad, frustrating Islam's territorial advance. Israel is facing the front lines of jihad, like Kashmir, Kosovo, the Philippines, Southern Thailand, Darfur in Sudan, Lebanon, and Aceh in Indonesia . Israel is simply in the way. The same way West-Berlin was during the Cold War.

The war against Israel is not a war against Israel . It is a war against the West. It is jihad. Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us. If there would have been no Israel , Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest. Thanks to Israeli parents who send their children to the army and lay awake at night, parents in Europe and America can sleep well and dream, unaware of the dangers looming.

Many in Europe argue in favor of abandoning Israel in order to address the grievances of our Muslim minorities. But if Israel were, God forbid, to go down, it would not bring any solace to the West It would not mean our Muslim minorities would all of a sudden change their behavior, and accept our values. In my country, the Netherlands , 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II. And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat. Yet there is a greater danger than terrorist attacks, the scenario of America as the last man standing. The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine. An Islamic Europe means a Europe without freedom and democracy, an economic wasteland, an intellectual nightmare, and a loss of military might for America - as its a llies will turn into enemies, enemies with atomic bombs. With an Islamic Europe, it would be up to America alone to preserve the heritage of Rome , Athens and Jerusalem .

Dear friends, liberty is the most precious of gifts. My generation never had to fight for this freedom, it was offered to us on a silver platter, by people who fought for it with their lives. All throughout Europe American cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish. My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians. We can only hand over this hard won liberty to Europe 's children in the same state in which it was offered to us. We cannot strike a deal with mullahs and imams. Future generations would never forgive us. We cannot squander our liberties. We simply do not have the right to do so.

I think I FINALLY got the right software loaded on my laptop. .. WHEW !!
What happened was I have some newer Microsoft software and the system kept asking to install it. I would rather have the older software as I’m more used to the screens.

So what’s been happening in my life?

Politically, our country is going in the wrong direction. I’m TRYING to do what’s right. Our little Topeka 912 project is limping along. Our little Citizens Against Illegal Immigration Topeka has been disbanded.

Our RELIV business pays us exactly what we’re worth. Any direct level marketing business does not come easily. It takes work.

Our church is in the process of finding another Pastor. Tonight we’re going to have a get acquainted gathering with our new intentional intern Bernie? More details to follow.

Sally & I learned a little more about our disease called diabetes. We attended a diabetes training last night. I guess I can drink all the coffee in moderation. More learning.

It rained last night. I’m curious as to if my little patch job worked.

I guess I’ll save this and post it to my blog.

You gotta love ‘em. Computers are what I used to run at the Post Office. I was born with a computer next to me. HA
Now I need to remove Microsoft office 2000 from my laptop. How many FREE trial versions of the MS software do I want? The answer is as many as my computer can load.

Now I am approaching critical mass again with my laptop. How many different versions of MS do I need? The answer is to keep the BEST version and not try to get GREEDY with the latest and greatest. I am NOT into piracy either. If the product is FREE or TRIAL basis, I’ll use it. I am NOT interested in selling pirated software or anything like that. I merely want to share our FAITH on the web.

Now I have numerous email addresses on my numerous email addresses of which I don’t have a clue who they are. So I’m going to have to send these unknown email addresses an email asking them to introduce themselves. MOST of these email addresses are computer generated. They remind me of the JUNK emails and also on our phones.

So I guess I’d better get busy.

I listen to a CD every day and also try to read scripture daily.

Sally is very wise. I made some negative remarks about my family and she suggested I place this blog into a private setting. I did so. Thanks Hon.

THE WEATHER

Sally & I have learned to have a deep respect for the weather.

The year was 1975, around Jan-Feb I believe. We were planning to make a trip to visit brother Dale in Mason City IA, some 400 + miles north of Topeka KS.

We leave without checking any weather info. There’s no need, the weather was cloudy with no precipitation in the air. We get as far a Hiawatha KS corner by Sabetha KS and the weather is starting to spit snow.

NO BIG DEAL, this farm boy from SD is invincible. AFTER All, no amount of weather will deter me from my appointed task, to visit my brother.

We continue north through Auburn and Nebraska City NE and the weather continues to deteriorate. But no amount of weather or anything will stop this stubborn NorVegun from his appointed mission.

We follow a truck on I-29 on the way to Council Bluffs IA and I then decide to turn around near Percival IA. We were in a white out.

I proceed to stop at a gas station in Nebraska City and purchase some chains. After all, this idiot, me, has a mission.

We head on south on state Highway 75 back home. The white out conditions are deplorable. I’m driving with my head out the window as the windshield wipers are of no use. I see oncoming vehicles coming at us in the nick of time and attempt to move over. I have no idea where the centerline is located. The shelterbelts were the worst.

Mark, 9 months, was sleeping in the car seat in the rear.
Sally, my spouse of then 5 + years was crying.
John, then 5, was enjoying the adventure.

We get as far as Auburn KS and stop at the palmer House Motel. There are two small rooms left in the basement. About that time, another stranded person asks for a room. We give the 8 x 11 room to this stranded traveler. The four of us spent the night, John & Mark slept on the floor. Sally was relieved I finally came to my senses.

The next morning was a beautiful sunny morning! The snow was fresh and it was absolutely stunning.

I’ll write more later.

Time to close this down. We’re to leave for Denver today. The weather held us back for a day.

This is so sad, but true If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn`t buy one. If a liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed. If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn`t eat meat. If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone. If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy. A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good. If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life. If a liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect. If a black man or Hispanic are conservative, they see themselves as independently successful. Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection. If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation. A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him. If a conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels. Liberals demand that those they don't like be shut down. If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church. A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced. (Unless it's a foreign religion, of course!) If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it. A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his. If a conservative slips and falls in a store, he gets up, laughs and is embarrassed. If a liberal slips and falls, he grabs his neck, moans like he's in labor and then sues. If a conservative reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh. A liberal will delete it because he's "offended".

Our Topeka KS city government is in a flux and I have an idea on how to make it run more efficiently.

We should make some major changes. Here’s our current annual salary structure

City Manager - $137,500
Mayor - 20,000
City council (9) 90,000

Totaling $ 247,500 in Salaries alone

For my services I’ll only charge $2,500 for my advice. This will make it a nice round even number to work with, totaling $250,00 in city payroll.

Remember, these city government servants are to be paying attention to us taxpayer citizens. We are your bosses in the final analysis.

Here’s my projected future salary redistribution of wealth, as our current president likes to call it.

City manager $35,714.28
Mayors (2) $35,714.28
City council (4) $35,714.28
----------------
TOTAL $250,000

With our federal deficit in the trillions, I’ll not quibble about the math.

Currently our Topeka KS city government is divided up into nine districts, with elections every four years. In 2010 the even #’s will be up for election. That would be a district 2,4,6 & 8. We just had an odd # year election with my district #7, Robert Archer winning by one vote. Thanks to Sally for showing up to vote. HA

With the above fore-mentioned election process explained, here’s my idea.

We will start by re-districting our great city into quadrants making it four districts. The north/south quadrant would be Topeka Ave. The east/west quadrant would be the Kansas River. The Topeka Ave. Bridge would be ground zero so to speak. We could have another ribbon cutting efficiency ceremony from this bridge.

In 2010’s election, the even # districts 2,4,6,8 would be only 2 and 4. There will no longer be a district 6 & 8.

In 2011’s election, the odd # districts, 1,3,5,7,9 would be only 1 and 3. There will no longer be a district 5,7,9.

I think I got these election processes correct, I could be wrong.

The city manager’s position would be up for bid AFTER the 2011’s election with the new salary.

The two mayors would also be up for election when the current mayors term is expiring.

The mayor(s) would have all the voting rights as the newly formed city council in making all these decisions. He/she would be responsible to conduct the Tues. night meetings.

The co-mayor will also be able to function as a backup on Tuesday night.

This former mayoral candidate would be willing to perform this necessary function, but would rather just kiss babies (with mother’s permission of course) and cut ribbons.

I visualize in the next mayoral election the names for mayor could be BUNTEN/HOLTER

We would make this newly formed government run more efficiently, in my opinion.

She got her first social security check & it looked pretty big.

Has already made appointments to fix her hair

A few years ago I read a book called “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus”, the author slips my mind at the moment.

In the book, the author describes the difference between men and women.

Well, this book describes Sally & I to a “T”. I’m the dude from Mars and my beloved Sally is my “Venus (in blue jeans)”. Isn’t that a song?

Why am I writing about a book?

Today I’m having my first in a long time visit with my #1 John and his younger brother. We’re going to have a father/son luncheon together.

My Venus wife has been crying as of late. She wants us to be a family again. So do I.

Later tonight, we are having another states rights committee meeting. I’m on the brochure committee. We’ll meet at another undisclosed location.

The word “family” is a powerful word.

My family is my wife Sally. We have two sons, John & Mark. John married Kim in 2005. They have one child, Madeline.

Our church family is at OSLC here in Topeka, KS. Our pastor has resigned after two short years in the ministry. I understand that there’s a pool of interim pastors listed in the www.elca.org available for work. I attend church at OSLC to sing with our church family. The decisions to hire another pastor will be done by someone other than me. But I do have an opinion about the ELCA.org

Our mutual friends are also our family. The names that come to mind are also our church family. I’ll not mention any names.

Our political family is another adjective. Our political world is turned upside down. I consider myself a fiscal conservative. My heroes in the political world are people like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Ronald Reagen, and the media of FOX. Of course I pay attention to the left wing media, being CBS, NBC, PBS and all those liberal biased outlets.

I am what I am.

Now if you’ll all excuse me, I’ve got some family matters to attend to.

Jim and I are leaving shortly on a missions trip to Costa Rica. Jim will be contacting some Bible schools there concerning the DVD and online school he is working on. We will also be visiting dear friends, Mike and Noribette Day who work tirelessly with AWANA, directing and training leaders for that great work among children. I asked what they would like us to bring and they request special vitamins which have helped their daughter with her migraines. Would you like to participate in this cause? Mike and Noribette also ask for prayer for another matter. While they have had tremendous success in the nation with AWANA, they live near a Catholic pilgrimage destination, (an apparition of Mary) and neither the missionaries before them nor they have seen a single person in that immediate area become a born again believer in Jesus Christ. There is such strong rejection of them that if they go to a neighbor's house, as they leave the neighbor will try to "cleanse" the house sprinkling "holy" water on anything they may have come in contact with. They believe this is a spiritual battle and hope that when we come to intercede with them that the Lord will give a victory and a breakthrough in that area, and people will respond to the Gospel.

Hello again from Costa Rica!

It has been quite a while since our last update, so please forgive this lapse. We had a great time in the States, and are grateful for those of you we were able to see.

A couple of days after we got back to Costa Rica, we trained 21 new leaders at the children's home, named Roblealto. As I mentioned in our previous letter, this home cares for around 80 kids that live with foster parents on the property. This is an important ministry, and we look forward to seeing how God uses Awana to work in these young lives.

A few weeks ago we trained two people in Grano de Oro to manage the Cubbies program, which is for the five and six year olds. Please pray that they can get this program off the ground, as starting is always the hardest.

I was asked to help coordinate a short-term team recently, where I handled all of the pre-trip logistics. The team built a foot bridge that crossed a deep gully. A young girl had fallen off the existing bridge (she survived), so they wanted to make something safer. They did a great job and the people are very happy. Attached is a picture of the old bridge.

This last Saturday we trained 23 new leaders to work with the Cubbies program (Casa Vida picture). On September 5th we are scheduled to train about 20 other leaders for the main Awana program, which is Sparks, Flame and Torch (grades 1-7). This is a large church, and has a lot of potential to reach their community.

We really appreciate your prayers and/or financial support!! Please continue to pray for the children, youth and families of Costa Rica.

FAITH COMES BY HEARING

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing comes from the Word of God.

Last July, while I was visiting my hometown of Bruce SD, I was able to pick up a FREE CD titled “You’ve got the time”

This CD is a 40-day plan for listening to the New Testament only 28 minutes a day.

Today I plan to listen to day 12 today.

If only our political leaders would spend a few minutes daily with the bible, our world would be a whole lot better.

I plan to share this CD with our church here in Topeka KS at their next church council meeting.

Speaking of the church I attend here in Topeka KS, our church has lost it’s pastor. We’re currently in an interim position.

And a Good Morning to everyone reading this. I just finished watching FOX TV with Steve Doocey interviewing Jeb Bush, George Bush’s brother.

I am going to title this blog “BLAME BUSH” for everything wrong in my life.

I am blaming Bush for the following “issues” in my life:

- the retaining wall in our backyard collapsed.
- Our pastor left after two short years at our church
- My son and his lovely wife will not allow me to see my grandchild
- My headaches/dizziness continues
- My diabetes , type 2, is still there
- Our taxes are too high
- We have the most liberal administration in the history of our country.
- Our fridge runs 24/7
- Our dog died
- Our house is a mess
- The Obama czars are crooks
- The Topeka city council voted to ban smoking
- Our reliv business is going nowhere
- Jesus died on the cross for our sins
- Hurricane Katrina in 2005
- Our milk turns sour if we don’t drink it before expiration date
- My blood sugar is high
- My blood pressure is high
- My hearse is not yet ready for me
- Obamacare is dividing our country
- 11.9 trillion debt

These are SOME of the reasons we can blame Bush. Did I miss anything?

Yesterday Sally & I spent a nice quiet day at home celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary.

All the important people in our lives remembered our day together also. My 95-year-old mother, CeCe, called us. That was fun!

Our #2 son, Mark, and my baby sis, Julie, sent us a personal email.
We got some cards in the mail. Life doesn’t get any better than that!

We wished our pastor well as yesterday was her last day. There were a few tears shed. We’ll miss her! Our church’s web address is at www.oslctopeka.org if anyone wants to visit us. It’s much better to visit in person though. Pastor Meggan was with us only two years. Most ministers in the ELCA synod last more that that I’m sure. I might have to do a search on that stat. Her reasons for leaving were to spend more time with her family. I understand that completely. Like any other church, there’s dissention. We’ll need to turn to GOD in prayer for our church.

A Happy Anniversary to you and I my love. I LOVE YOU!
We have been through a lot of ups and downs throughout our 40 years of wedded bliss. They say that marriage is an institution. I guess I’ve been institutionalized most of my life.

Are we going to celebrate? Whatever you’d like to do babe, as long as we do it together.. Ok?

Yesterday we attended a Blues & BBQ at our church. It was fun!
There were even a few biker friends dropping by for some free food.
I met a few folks and invited them to our church.

Also, yesterday our little group called Citizens Against Illegal Immigration Topeka dissolved. Paul D. , our President, turned in his resignation. My job as the event coordinator is to cancel the library-meeting place. I thanked Paul for his three plus years of serving as president.

I’ll need to update our web also.

ANOTHER PRIVATE MEETING

I attended another meeting last night. This time I brought my beloved wife of many years along. We discussed states rights, which is the 10th Amendment to the constitution.

This committee is a grassroots movement from the Glenn Beck movement.

Why live anymore?

The road of life has many detours.

Just yesterday I got a reject e-file email from the IRS.

I KNOW – I KNOW, it’s after April 15th. The story of my life is one of procrastination. So now I’ll need to decipher the Turbo Tax email and correct my errors.. According to Turbo Tax, hope is not lost. They even want me to call the IRS for help – imagine that!

Now the State of Kansas wants me to show them that I’m trying to find a job. OK – I confess, I haven’t been looking hard. So I guess I’ll pound the streets.

There is indeed SOME bit of honesty in our government, especially when it comes to their expenses.

Better get busy with all these challenges.

OH – I’m not going to JUST DIE and I’m a REPUBLICAN.

Light-em up if you got ‘em.

That’s what my drill sergeant used to order us when we took a break from basic training.

So what’s a non-smoker like me to do?
I watched my fellow comrades getting their “fix.”
This was in Sept. 1966 @ Lackland AFB, TX

Let’s scroll back in time to 1959. I was a freshman at Bruce High School, Bruce SD. My freshman friends and I would like to take our recess breaks behind the school OUTSIDE and wanted me to light up with them. It was KEWL to smoke, remember?

But I knew that smoking was NOT a healthy thing to pursue, in spite of my so-called “friends” insistence.

So I choose not to smoke, but I was curious as to why I should smoke. After all, my peers were insisting that I smoke, as it’s fun you know.

So .. on a Sunday afternoon when my parents were at church and our farm house was vacated, I decided to experiment. I purchased a pack of unfiltered Camels. Remember, I was only 14 years old and Bud & Micks Café in Bruce SD knew what I was up to, I’m sure. The pack of cigarettes costs maybe 50 cents.

So I was curious as to why smoking was so “KEWL” and I lit up. I remember like it was yesterday. I was next to our cob-burning stove and I took a BIG DRAG! I almost fainted! Remember, I purchased a pack of UNFILTERED Camel. This was BEFORE any warning labels were place on the cigarettes.

After burning the pack in the stove, I decided that this habit was NOT for me. I told my “friends” that if GOD had wanted me to smoke, HE would have placed a smoke stack on my head. I had just turned my life over to Jesus. Somewhere in scripture it read that our body is a temple of GOD. I choose to keep my temple presentable to GOD.

My oldest brother Wesley has had a lung removed because of smoking. I witnessed throughout my 64 + years of living the devastating effects of smoking.

Fortunately, I grew up with GOD fearing parents who taught me to fear and love the Lord. Other than a few incidents of corncob smoking behind the barn, I refrained from smoking.

Forty plus years ago I asked my lovely Bride, Sally, to be my wife. We were married on Oct 04, 1969. The only requirement I asked of Sally to be my bride was she would have to agree to quit smoking. I would NOT marry her if she continued to smoke. She accepted on both counts. That was over forty years ago. Thanks HON for being my bride for all these years! I LOVE YOU.

I have witnessed countless people who have been devastated by the negative effects of smoking. Just last night, I listened to all these stories representing various groups with their anti-smoking concerns.

I only use two sources for my decisions:
1) The Bible
2) The US constitution

I was merely a listener while dozens of concerned citizens from both sides expressed their concerns.

So if I were on the Topeka city council, which way would I vote?
